It's like any other day at the gym. Everyday you go to push the limits of your body. You push the limits until your body and soul is battered, bruised, and beat up. That is the goal to be met at the end of the night. All the bullshit, drama, and any sort of feelings only become part of the fuel that transcend your body. To rise above and beyond, to reach out. To reach new limits, and overcome old ones. That is the goal in mind. There's no more, "I'm stronger and bigger than you." The only person you need to surpass, is the person within you. That's what I crave and live for. To live another day to push and attempt to surpass myself. I no longer lift to impress others. I lift because it's what I do and enjoy. I lift for myself. I lift for my satisfactory. Weightlifting is more than just being another joe shmoe meathead, it's a way of expressing yourself. It's a way of expressing the connection between the mind, body, and soul between the iron itself. It's a complete circle. There is no gap in between or missing link. No matter how you see it, everything is connected. And forever shall be. You are the object that balances this circle. When you're in the squat rack holding up 500lbs on your shoulders, it's your choice whether you want to come face to face with your enemy. This is the enemy that tells you that you cannot make it, this is the enemy that creates self doubt. That enemy is the feeling of question. This enemy is within YOU. You know what I say? The hell with this enemy. Make that self-doubt disappear. Make IT disappear. In fact, this enemy doesn't exist. There's only one way out of this situation...Complete your mission. Make it known that the only thing that can stop you from reaching your goal is YOU. And no one else. Not a damn thing can stop you. Implement the idea that you are an unstoppable stampede. It's all upon your final decision whether you want to take it up a notch. Keep the momentum flowing and blast your obstacles away with such a fierce force. Never stop and never look back. Looking back in the past will only slow you down and add more weight to the haul. Live life as it comes, not as it leaves. For you, are the only person that controls your fate. And as it has been said many a times before...Life is short. Live everyday like its your last.

That is great GNK! I may print that out, and keep it to read. And especially true, I always seem to have a day or two where the motivation is simply NOT there!
