Regular jogging exercise will give you more energy, improve your self-esteem, increase your metabolic rate, reduce stored fat and give you a toned body.

Can anyone add more to what I have just said?

yup. 'toned' doesn't exist for any practical purposes. When people say 'tone' they are referring to seeing the muscle, ie low bodyfat. This *can* be accomplished by jogging, but is not necessarily the case.

To lose bodyfat, one must have a deficit of calories, a negative energy balance. This means more calories are burned off than are taken in. Ways of accomplishing this are increasing calorie output (lifting weights, jogging, whatever), and decreasing calorie input (eat less calories). So, jogging will not necessarily reduce weight, in fact you could gain tons of weight if you jogged daily, assuming you went to mcdonald's after each jog.

Jogging will undoubtedly improve cardiovascular health as well.
