I have just sat and written 3 letters, haven't done this for years actually written a letter the joys of email

do you think that you are excerising when you are writing as my wrist and arm is aching :)

you're working the muscle, but it's not enough of work to consider "exercise" ... you hardly burn any calories ... i could consider channel surfing exercise, then ... you know???

I believe that that is a form of excercise. That is exercising the brain. because you had to use that muscle to write those letters. That's what you call mental excercise. I don't know about physical excercise.

mental exercise is a whole different ballpark ... but sitting here reading what ya'll wrote, that's mental exercise ... by thinking in general, it's mental exercise ... and i don't know of anyone who can just completely shut their brain off and not think ... unless they're sleeping, but sometimes even then ...

You feel sore because your using different parts of your hand that you havn't in awhile. Like said above, your not really burning any calories or gaining muscle. Best bet would be to just start running or something else to loose weight.
