Not sure if this type of topic goes in here, so sorry about it if it does not.

But, does anybody here use or know somebody who uses it? I have a 2004 edition, with the rods. I am not quite sure if it works with building muscle. I used it for 2 months before, but I was not on a right diet or anything. I would use it, and that would be that. But, I wanted to know if it is actually worth using the time, and supplements with this, or should I go out and buy some free weights?

I was really looking to start working out to gain a bit of muscle before I enter Weight Training next semester. Plus, I also pretty much just want to bulk up instead of looking like some scrawny kid lol.

I had a Bowflex and it works great. Standard weights are good, too just to have as spares. Bowflex is good though. It helped me lose weight and get my body into shape pretty quickly. Everybody's different but I'm pretty sure it'll be worth investing time into. Just try it for the six weeks they recommend and if it doesn't work, send it back and go to a gym.
