Always ask yourself before you eat,? Am I hungry?
1.Never underestimate the power of emotions(stress, boredom, unhappiness) to make you eat when you?re not hungry.
2.Look for ways to add vegetables to meals.
3.Never use the ?D? word. Fad diets results in weight gain, not weight loss.
4.Check if you are at risk for ?metabolic syndrome?, a condition that can increase your chance for heart disease and diabetes.
5.Always take the stairs when you can. Climbing stairs burns more calories per minute than jogging.
6.Encourage your family to eat together. Families who eat together are healthier.
7.Never eat in front of the television.
8.Count food groups (grains, fruit, vegetables, meat, milk and other calcium-rich foods) to get the right balance of nutrients in your diet.
9.Never, never, never give up.
