Awareness of the need to lead a healthy lifestyle is now so wide spread that many people make it their New Year?s resolution.

For fitness, moderate exercise with a less sugar, less oil, less salt meal. Those who can?t afford health clubs should walk every day and if they are fit, climb stairs.

i find a huge difference of "fit" vs. "in shape" ... i know some folks who are pretty massive, and not due to muscle ... but i've seen them outrun and outdistance and outcompete many people who are "in shape" -- i.e. a good BMI, lacking excess fat, with good muscle tone throughout ...

i think it's a big difference ... not all people are willing to make the dietary lifestyle change, and a lot of people it would be difficult to encourage them to do both at one time ... it's all a series of baby steps ... i didn't walk into the gym and squat 130 the first time i went in ... i sure wouldn't ask someone to do the equivalent of such insanity by making the dietary changes AND exercise changes ...

it all takes starting somewhere ... walk around the block every night ... then maybe to the park and back ... then maybe job a bit, walk a bit, job a bit, walk a bit ... then maybe it'll be running ... then maybe running isn't intriguing and they give tennis a go ... or try biking ... or anything ... with hightened self-esteem, that same person could quite possibly be motivated to begin making the dietary changes ... they start by cutting out one soda a day, until they've replaced their fluid consumption solely with waters or fitness waters ... then maybe for a snack one day instead of a snickers bar they decide to substitute it for an apple or orange or juice or yogurt ...

not all people strive to be bodybuilders or musclular in stature ... many simply want to be "fit" and "healthy" ... obviously low-fat, low sodium, low sugar is desirable ... that's nothing we haven't been taught since preschool and grammar school ... but those changes can't and won't come overnight, except in a few cases ... in most instances, cutting out the packaged foods (boxed, bagged, processed, dehydrated, canned) and opting for fresh produce and foods without additives will automatically cut out the undesirable fats, sugars, and salts ...

In my view to remain healthy with exercise taking a proper and nutritious diet is important.
Taking in view exercise, it helps to keep one healthy not only physically but also mentally. I regularly exercise in form of dance. I think its the best exercise as it also acts as recreation as well as exercise. Also one could put his/her music at top volume to exercise,it would give you an extra energy to perform exercise and you would be regular as you wont feel monotonous.
