I own an electric toothbrush. I like it but I don't like that it runs for 2 minutes. I was wondering if it is suppose to run for the full 2 minutes or if I can turn it off after 1 minute. My dentist just saved my teeth from gum disease and this is very important to me because I am really doing everything I can to save my teeth.

i think you should change to a normal brush, as it gives you more flexibility;
the electric one was not so comfortable for me.
Also i think you can switch it off after a minute if you feel that your tooths are completely brushed and clean.

I`m really sorry for you.Thats a very bad thing to loose your teeth.Electronic toothbrush is good i think.I`ve used my own for a long time and i`ve found that it clears better than normal.I recommend using it.
