What is your face washing technique, and how is your complexion? I have medium complexion I guess, could be better. I have tried many different routines in an effort to get the best possible complexion. I tried a plain soap routine, that only was benefial at first. Then it stopped working. I have tried altering my sleep times to see if that affected it, but I can't always control my sleep. (More sleep actually helps)

Right now, I am back to a OTC scrub that has always worked fairly well. What do you use?

ehh, i'm really lame at keeping my face washed enough with working out ... i usually forget to do so before hand, but take a cold washcloth afterwards to get the sweat and grime off ... at night i use an antibacterial soap ... i gave up on dealing with acne medications and washes seeing as i tend to be allergic to them which only compounds insult to injury ...

Ha, same here. I often forget to go to the bathroom after activity and wash my face off. Which is really bad for your skin, I really should start remembering it.

I heard that if you overwash with OTC washes, it will do more harm than good. I only wash my face with such scrubs twice a day at most.

salycylic acid and benzoyl peroxide both dry out your skin ... which inevitably causes an overproduction of oil ...

My wife uses Celeteque Facial wash for her face. She really has a smooth face. She does not have an acne prone skin. She gently massages celeteque all over her face. This is a good facial wash.

soft soap and a lot of water is my technique but i do not thought so much about this.
My complexion seems pretty good to me and this is what it matters after all, i do not have any acne, and never had this kind a problem before.

The best water to clean the face is rain water collected after the first shower and it?s not possible always. However, you can keep your shinning complexion by using plain water with minimum use of soap (plain). Of course sleeping is a major criterion.

If you ask for my technique, I go against chemical beauty products as its use in long run leads to clogging of pores - resulting pimples. I rather prefers to beauty aids made from natural ingredients.

Application of 2 tbsp of milk + 1 tbsp salt on the face at bedtime makes the skin soft. Milk is a very good natural cleanser.

For complexion, lemon is the best. The enzyme contained by lemon help to cleanse the skin of dead cells. So, lemon juice + rose water + cold milk refresh and tone the skin extremely well. Adding aloe Vera does a magic. I use it because of my skin type (oily). For dry skin, honey can be added.
