I am finding that clumps of my hair are falling out I have such thick hair anyway but I am finding it everywhere.

Could this be because of the stress of me breaking my leg or could it be because i am missing something in my diet :( ??

Is there anything I can do ?

As above I have lost hair when I gave birth to my twins - the hair came out out in clumps and it is starting to grow back - but my hair falling out wasn't that bad but it was bad enough to fill the bath when I washed my hair :)

usually, humans, along with animals, have "hair sheds" two times per year ... usually spring and fall ... some years it's more noticable ...

unless you meet some of the other symptons, i doubt it could be due to a thyroid imbalance, but that could be something for you to check into ...

Get it checked if you are worried as it can be treated

Hair loss could be because of the stress of breaking your leg. Stress affect people differently. It be something that you are missing in your diet. Once your leg heals you'll know if that was it. Your hair should grow back.

I dont know but there can be so many reasons for this.Maybe testosterone increase in your body causes hair fall.I`ve read it somewhere and it is true.

We lose some hair daily and it is a normal process. But loss of more than 100 strands per day calls for looking into. Local conditions of scalp like dandruff and ringworm can result in loss of hair.

To prevent loss of hair, massage your head with warm oil every week. Also, shampoo your hair regularly. Take a nourishing diet containing fresh fruits and green vegetables. Avoid greasy foods.
