Why is it, that when I have allergies or am sick, that my nose will begin to act normal after brown/green mucus comes out of my nose? Is there a way to shorten the process of blowing out regular congestion from your nose, and getting straight to the off-colored mucus?

Just a thought I had. :)

mmm, there's some medicines out there that my mom has claimed have helped shorten and lessen the severity of her colds ... i'll have to check into what she uses and then get back to you ...

Runny nose can be treated with herbal medicines. Try to drink ginger tea regularly. You need tea leaves and ginger. Boil some water and add the two ingredients. It is best to drink this while it's hot. Try it. It's my grandma's suggestion for this.
