Hey mates, i asked one of my friend why does he smoke and he told me this:

All of my friend smoke and i stay close to them cause they are my friends; now if i do not smoke ,nevertheless i have to inhale the smoke coming out of my friend's cigarettes;this is more harmful for me than if i was actively smoking, so i smoke to protect my health.

Is this logic true?

i don't buy it ... directly inhaling the smoke from the cigarette is much more damaging ... and if your friend was sincerely concerned with his health, he would quit smoking, and i would imagine that his friends would be supportive, if they were true friends, and try not to smoke around him ... or at least go outdoors to smoke ...

I must say this is terrible.All of my friends smoke when they smoke i cannot leave them but it does not mean that i have to smoke with them.
