People waste so much money spending on cigarrettes in their entire lifetime, think about how much money they could've saved and made their money more useful for something else.

There was a joke going around in our circle of friends that goes like this, 'For every cigarette stick that is lighted is like putting another nail in your coffin.'

The world views smoking as socially acceptable?cool?fashionable. This is an especially enticing trap for young people. Some children pick up habits?good and bad?from their parents. Pray and ask God for His help. As Paul stated, in Philippians 4:13, ?[We] can do all things through Christ which strengthens [us].? There is no trial that you face that Jesus Christ does not understand.

A lot of people who work in places like call centres which have a stressful environment leading them to smoking.

Tobacco is highly dangerous because it sits on the spot and causes a chemical and mechanical burning of the tissue.

i'm not sure about the rest of the states or the world, but i know that montana's implemented a no-smoking law for every public building including nearly all bars and restauraunts ... at first there were a lot of people WAY angry over it ... especially considering the year before they implemented the cigarette tax ... even without sales tax, the cheapest standard pack of cigarettes you can buy is about 4.50 here and i know it's WAY more expensive in other places ...

i think this is a super great direction ... even second hand smoke stinks ... literally ... especially when you're allergic to smoking and cigarette smoke ...

I've been smoking for year, since I was fourteen years old. It hasn't affected me too much externally. I'd like to quit though. People think it's so simple but really, it's not. Once you start doing it on a regular basis you just can't stop cold turkey. There's more health risks for second hand smokers though so yah.:D

Too bad my country is still slow concerning this topic. Smoking in bars, restaurants and so on is still legal and popular. I never smoked a cigarette in my life and can't understand people who smoke. Especially people who tell around how they care for their health and then after doing sports they smoke a cigarette outside the gym.

I used to be proud of Indian women as 99% Indian women never used to smoke. But now the scenario is changed so many women are smoking all around. It would get them a lot of complications during pregnancy. Yeah, here in India only few restaurants have no smoking zones. I feel like puking when somebody smokes while I eat.
