I'm going to start lifting and was wonder what workout's you do?

In two years I'm going to enlist in the marines so i kinda wanna start to bulk up.

Thanx for the help

Oh yeah My wrestle coach wants us to lift all season but I lifted for football and most of the school year.

I just don't have a workout to go by so i can start to lift again.

If your just starting to work out again, i'd probably stick to 4 basic lifts:

Bench press
Squats
Power Cleans
Incline db press

For each exercise, do 3 sets of 10(3x10). Between each set, rest for 2-3 minutes. Do this workout 3 times a week on the days of monday, wednesday, and friday. All the other are rest days, including the weekend. Consider this workout routine a conditioning phase. Do this workout just right, and you'll pack on atleast 5-10lbs of muscle at the end of 6 weeks. But there are many variables contributing how much you'll gain.

But thats just me. This is the workout routine i first started out with a couple years back. And if you wanna bulk up, incorporate a high calorie/high protein diet in your training program. There are other workout routines out there, but i recommend this if your just starting to workout again.

Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Thats what my weight training instructor back in high school had me and my classmates do. It's pretty effective for building muscle.
