Protein should be a big part of your diet. To find out how much protein you need in a day, here?s a little math. For every 20 pounds of body weight you need eight grams. Now go figure

I need about seven 8 miligrams, which is 48 miligrams. Doesn't sound like a whole lot. I can get that merely eating miniature nutrition bars. Interesting that all of this can be calculated by weight. No other factors effect your protein intake?

this is one of those broad, generalized statements i warned against posting in my "READ HERE BEFORE POSTING AGAIN" sticky at the top ...

there are plenty of other factors that affect how much protein you require ... if you're looking to increase muscle mass, a higher intake of protein is essential ... to maintain higher amounts of muscle mass, more protein is going to be essential ... also, if you are overweight, then you obviously do not need to consume as much protein as star suggests by a simple body weight calculation ... the same would hold true if you are underweight ...
