Not to long ago I use to eat a ton of junkfood because it was easy to just pickup and eat. But I decided to get some carrots and some dip and just spend a few minutes putting it on the plate... That made a huge difference, I felt so much better each day.

If anyone has a high sugar intake... take a day off from that and eat some healthy stuff - you won't be going back to sugar! ;)

hear hear!!! i love my sugars and sweets, as does anyone ... but on the days where i have a couple of sodas or excess juices or candy or it's just an all out splurge day, i am so lethargic, instead of the commonly misinterpreted sugar-rush-hyperness ...

I love my candy. It would be realy hard for me to stop eating sweets. I know I shouldn't be eating so many sweet because I need to lose weight. Can I eat sugar free sweet instead? I do drink diet pop.

Sugar free helps, but it is still not the best type of food out there. Don't get me wrong with my first post, I still eat sweets, just not as much as I used to... and I feel so much better.

"They" say that artificial sweeteners can also be harmful to your health, later on down the road anyway. Dont take my word for it tho.

I'm not too strict on my diet, but at the same time I still am conscious of what I eat. I eat junk food or candy in moderation. Never hurts to reward yourself every now and then.

I too like sweets like everyone, but the thing is how you control it. Intake of excess can lead to many diseases so sugar sugar free can be a benificial one in these situations.

I`ve read lots of articles about artificial sweeteners. They can be very dangerous if you take them a lot.It can even make you cancer according to some searches.I prefer taking it natural ways even if it makes me fast.I mean i prefer cola to diet cola :)

artificial sweeteners is bad. Any chemical is bad IMO.

If you want to add sweet, use maple syrup to you food/drink. It is the highest quality of sugar you can get

sugar gives you a lot of energy, i do not know how will you feel more healthy, but definitively you will fell very tired.
Sugars stimulates you more than anu other salad, and i agree that you can take a day off without sugar, but not a week or a month.

Even though sugar provides no nutritional value, it is still essential to one's diet.
