On the news, I heard that there was a recall of certain types of peanut butter because salmonella is present. The weird thing is, salmonella shouldn't get in peanut butter. The only way I could really see it getting in there is from un-sanitary factory conditions.

What do you think about the whole ordeal?

What brand of peanut butter has salmonella? I love peanut butter. Imported peanut butter from states really tastes good. I am afraid, I have to stick to home made peanut butter because of this.

I don't like peanut butter - my son loves it, I have only just allowed him to have it as he had it at a party and he said he wanted it :)

I got addicted to the Peter Pan honey peanut butter. So in addicted in fact, that I can't eat regular peanut butter much anymore. Everytime I eat it, I think, "Wow, I wish this had honey in it".

The stuff is amazing. If you haven't tried it , go get it. You might lose your love for regular peanut butter though, careful :D

Oh goodie, not reached here yet then :)

My son loves it and it isn't in any brand that we know - so I don't feel so bad at giving it to him :)

I don't know any one that did that, only in films but it is good to know that someone does it in real life :)

I do not like peanut butter in general, but hmm , the news is pretty intriguing; can you name a specific brand of peanut butter?
The salmonella does not necessary comes form unsanitary conditions, i guess, there are other way to get it in.
Well, from now on i will refrain from eating peanut butter.
