Nah unfortunately I wasn't at hart count during the time when they put in the new equipment lol. I wish I was tho...I would of been able to play football that year. Because when I transferred over to greenwood, they wouldn't let me play because of a number of legal issues. It was a bunch of BS at the time..

Well when I was at hart county, I was able to practice with the team for a few weeks...But then when they checked my record, I was a credit short of being able to play for HC. So I got cut off the team. And then when I transferred over to greenwood the following year, they said I couldn't play because it was my first year being at the school and I would have to wait till next year. But there was no point because I was going to graduate that same year anyway. Kinda sad to say, but every sport that I tried out for during all my high school years, I got cut everytime..Mainly because of my grades and academic record.

As for creatine, it depends what kind you're going to get. If its monohydrate, you have to go through a loading stage...Whatever creatine you decide to take, just follow the directions on the label. Usually it'll say, take it on an empty stomach 30-45 minutes before your workout session. And on most supplements, they will also suggest you take another serving right after your workout but in my opinion they just want you to go through the supplement faster.

Not necessarily weaker. Depending on how hard you work at it, you can keep your strength gains but you might notice a drop in energy. You see with alot of supplements out there, they also have a placebo effect. Lets say for example, you take a serving a creatine before your workout and now you're confident and focused on your workout session. Time for scenario number 2...One day you don't take your usual serving of creatine, and now you feel a little less confident that you'll have a great workout. The point I'm trying to make is when you take creatine, its the mental expectance and belief that you'll have an awesome workout. Just realize creatine is just a supplement, and is something that you shouldn't create a dependency for.

Like any substance you introduce into your body for long term usage, your body will build a certain tolerance. For optimal results, you should cycle creatine every 6-8 weeks. And then after that time period, take a 6-8 week break.

EDIT: As for supplements, right now I'm taking the shock therapy and storm stack. Pretty good stuff...

What??? A freshman getting 500lbs on squat??? Damn...How big is this kid? Whats he puttin up on bench?

Sweet, so far your bench has jumped about 35lbs since last january. And yeah, you're right...Don't stop there, stay focused to keep getting stronger. Btw, what brand of creatine are you using?

Yea, most of the feedback on this storm/shock therapy stack is pretty positive for the most part. I'm loving it right now! I remember the first dose I took, I felt like a totally different person with all this energy I had. And the pumps are pretty good. The only thing I hate is that I usually workout late at night, and alot of the time it can keep me up til the morning hours. But thats my fault anyway. lol

As far as my bench goes, I'm not too sure what my max is right now. Maybe 3-- somethin. A little over a month ago I could only rep out 250, and now I'm repping out 285. I'm thinking about just saying the hell with it, and try to go for 300 monday...It depends on how confident I feel tomorrow.

For a freshman, those are some pretty good stats. Sounds like he has alot of potential to look forward to these next couple years.

Yea, creatine is creatine. As long as you feel it works for you, you're good to go.

I think I payed about $60 for the storm/shock therapy stack. Compared to other supplements, the pricing aint too bad with all the servings you get within each container.

Honestly, the best supplement you can take for good overall strength gains is food. No doubt. I remember when I first started lifting and I started to get all hyped up about supplements and wondered what would be the quickest way to add size and strength. It took me a longgggggg time to realize my nutrition intake would be the greatest factor of adding size and strength. Of course, I took a couple supplements here and there along the way but my priorities were higher in my diet than what was stashed in my supplement cabinet. Just stick to the ole basics of creatine, multi, protein, and maybe no2. And if ya really want a good workout, load up on some calories and carbs a couple hours before a workout. I'm tellin ya man, real gains are made in the kitchen not at gnc. lol ;)

I don't normally do push-ups in between workouts, but it can be beneficial. And whoever told you that you're not using your chest during bench press is full of it. It's a combination of all main upper body muscles; The triceps, shoulders, anddddd chest. And not to mention, your core and stabilization muscles also. If you want to have a strong bench, it's good to focus on all aspects of the upper body and not just the "arms."

Unless your goal is to bulk and gain weight, you don't necessarily have to eat 6 meals a day, but just make a conscience effort and realize that food is the marker to success. Food first, supplements later.

Yeah, the workouts that are assigned to you are aimed to improve your overall power and strength. And also pack on overall muscle mass. Compound lifts such as power cleans, bench press, barbell squats and deadlifts can definitely do wonders. :]

Also, you can do something called "Diamond Pushups" while at home or anywhere else when it's convenient. This exercise is where you perform pushups with your hands positioned close together, with the thumbs and index fingers of each hand touching each other. These are good for triceps and can be incorporated into your current workout if needed be.

Hey man, long time no heard! lol. Yeah, it's been a while since I posted updates on my lifts too. Looks like your squat and bench have gone up since then though! Good job bro! By the way, how was hart county's football record this year?
