just like to post how well my bro did at an apf meet over the weekend...
he competed in a belt and wraps only and he just turned 17 last week...198 pound class........
squat belt and wraps
451 opener smoke show
501 easy
512 good lift looks like he had more in him...
all these squats look usapl style 2-4 inches below par. at least......

raw bench
336 open smoked
351 second attempt really easy
363 good lift ... look good for 370 even after squating

deadlifts singlet and belt
501 smoked opener
540 easy second
551 good lift third.... still looked good for 560 plus

all in all we picked very smart attempts for him and he went 9 for 9 totalling over 1400 at 198 with no suit or shirt at 17 years old.... i think he had 27 white lights.... i have never seen such a perfect day... im kinda thinkin bout getting him into usapl nats and see if he can go to worlds... get him in a single ply suit put his squat in the mid 600's and he already knows how to use a shirt so that would put him around upper 400's low 500's he could total mid 1600's probably........

I'm hesitant to ask, but i'm going to anyways. If your brother is clearly a serious, competing powerlifter, why isn't he helping you out with getting yourself going?

If i were you, I would seriously take that into my advantage and learn from your brother. Its better to have 1 on 1 training with an experienced lifter than going on the internet. Atleast, thats the way I see it.

To anybody that has any opportunity of training with a professional...Especially if it's for free!?! Take it while the opportunity still stands!
