sucks. Actually it's lifting and exercising in general. I can't lift for more than five miniutes straight and I can only do sets of twenty five, like, three or four times. Is that sad or is it average? I'm a girl, just so you know.:) Does anyone have any tips? How should I start off my lifting? Is what i'm doing straining? It definately hurts right after.

it depends on how active you were before and how much weight you're trying to do ... i don't lift the max amount i can do in the set of reps that i want ... i lessen it ... if you're just starting out, you're going to be a little stiff and sore, that's a given ... from time to time if you have a really intense workout it will be the same ... for me, the first two weeks were hell, but i was running 7 miles a day on top of that, all in a row ... post back some more info and we can help you better!!!

you dont need to worry about anything, just go one trying from small to big and less to high. thats the way to be good.
