Are you looking for an increase in strength, reps, or speed in your workout?

...Creatine may be the solution your searching for...

Creatine is a substance that is found in high concentration mainly
in red meats. Creatine is known to boost anaerobic, and aerobic
performance. Your body itself is also known to produce it's own
creatine from the amino acids glycine, arginine, and methionine.

It's estimated 40% of the body's creatine stores are free creatine (Cr),
while the remaining 60% is stored in the form of creatine phosphate
(CP). The average male consumes about 2 grams of creatine per day.
During supplementation, 2-5 grams of creatine per day is suggested.

Creatine phosphate maintains a high level of concentration of Adenosine
Triphosphate (ATP) in the muscle during periods of muscular exertion.
During the start of a sprint or other high-intensity activity, this
energy source is very critical. Usually, muscles have enough ATP for a
burst of exercise lasting 5-6 seconds. With creatine providing more
ATP energy to the muscle, creatine can double the amount of time needed
for a burst of energy.

In conjunction with weight lifting, creatine can play a major role in providing energy when lifting. Since
creatine can provide more energy to the muscle, increased number of
reps will usually result. With an increase of reps on a certain lift,
increased muscle mass will result. With an increase in muscle mass,
increased strength and endurance will also result.

After a high-intensity workout, creatine has the ability to decrease muscle
soreness and decrease muscle recovery time in between workouts.

There are some side-effects of creatine. Usually, the two main side-effects
of creatine use include body dehydration, and weight gain. To prevent
dehydration, make sure you drink plenty of liquids throughout the day.
If you supplement with creatine, you may see a gain in body weight.
This is due to water retention within the muscle.

As you can see, creatine has the ability to increase the performance of the human
body. If you have any chronic illness or suffer from any other medical
condition, you should contact your physician before supplementing with
creatine.

I know you have to drink so much water in order to avoid side-effects of the creatine. This makes me very exhausted as i drink 2-3 liters of water when i take it but it helps a lot so it is worth doing that.
