Is still safe to take food supplement if you're pregnant? I remember when I was pregnant that I just can't take any medicines without the advice of my OB-Gyne. What food supplements is good for pregnant women? Any experience you share will be highly appreciated.

i haven't heard of any ... as you said, before saying one is and one isn't, discuss it with your physician or OBGYN ... if they can't help, a pediatrics doctor might also be of assistance ...

Me too. I was told by my Ob-gyne to take Iron supplement since it is very essential for pregnant women. I am also taking Vitamin B. If pregnant women can't just take food supplements, then just stick with fruits. They contain natural vitamins that are good for pregnant women.

I think it is not recommended to take any food supplements other than those prescribed by doctors. My wife is taking vitamins rich in Iron and folic acid. These are good for pregnant women. Just stick with what is prescribed to you.

Always check with the doctor - before taking anything when pregnant - it is too dangerous to you and the baby not to take advice before taking
