Today, it?s more likely that busy, fast food ? loving people aren?t getting adequate daily intakes of some vitamins or minerals, which might not make them sick but can leave them feeling less than 100 per cent.

Taking a supplement may be a cheap and safe way to confront that problem but you need to have it in a meal rather than in pill form.

A complete meal gives most nutrients. The absorption of nutrients are all interlinked. Just relying on pills cannot substitute this. They can complement a meal, but must never be substitutes for them.

Do you have anything to add to my point of view?

I ate fast food every week and would take pills and drink water to replace all the other meals during the day. I did it for a while and at first it was great. I lost a bunch of pounds and toned my body a bit but now because of all of that I pretty much have no stomach lining. It's crazy and i'm always fatique, sore, etc. Word of advice for people thinking of replacing meals with pills, DON'T. Now I get my nutrients from fruits and vegetables. Canned but better than nothing, right?:D

What I suggest is never go for artificial vitamins when we have natural source of vitamins around us. Unless you have some deficiency of vitamins and suggested by a doctor. Natural sources of vitamins will be available in fruits and vegetable.

I have done the supplement route and it made me ill - I took 3 pills a day andit made me so ill as I wasn't getting anything in my body I suffered with headaches and problems with my insides - it wasn't very nice

I would stick to healthish meals and if you do want to take vitamins then take a multivitamin every day - I feel a whole lot better for it :)

In a very busy world like this, it is hard to stick on naturals. Ready made vitamins are the only resort for this. eating a fruit or vegetable usually takes a while. Compared to taking vitamins which just normally takes seconds to finish.

I would never like to eat artificial vitamins unless if I suffer from some serious problem. It?s always better to compensate with fresh fruits and vegetables instead of taking these artificial pills as for sure in long run these would give us some side effects.

i would say taking lots of vitamins not better for health, if we take fruits or juices its keep our health good....
so try to avoid to take vitamins....
