This is the most preferred method by women who like to restore their bodies to their natural figures. But I heard it is painful and costly.

Liposuction is the removal of excess body fat by suction with specialized surgical equipment, typically performed by a plastic surgeon. Liposuction, also known as lipoplasty or suction-assisted lipectomy, is cosmetic surgery performed to remove unwanted deposits of fat from under the skin. Liposuction should only be done by a doctor who has special training in liposuction and surgery of the skin and in how to respond to complications during surgery.

i'm probably one of the few females who think this way, but i REFUSE to ever get liposuction ... if i can't manage my own weight, then it's my fault ... if i don't have the control to maintain my meal and exercise plans, then that's my fault ... i think i'd probably end up hating myself for taking the easy (not to mention expensive) way out ...

One of my best friends was going to get this but I think it's stupid. She just eats too much. Pizza and McDonalds are an everyday thing with her. It's gross. She can't stop eating though and I understand but surgery isn't the answer, especially one as risky as this one. It's really dangerous post surgery. Your stomach shrinks and if you stretch it out you could die. I'm sure a ton of people will stretch their stomach out because, well, old habits die hard. *shrug*

your stomach shrinks due to having lipo??? not so sure on that ...

as is true for most surgeries involving anesthesia, you're not allowed to eat or drink for about 12 hours beforehand ... then, due to the surgery itself, most people aren't up to feeling like eating afterwards ... it's just like having the flu for three days straight, you don't eat, your stomach shrinks ...

i'm wondering if you're thinking about stomach stapling???

I agree. But i mean, if you cant manage your diet and eating and excercising before the liposuction....what will you make you change?? You will just gain the weight back once you start eating like you did before and not excercising. You only get out of something, what you put in...The easy way out is never the best way.

Liposuction is a very drastic method, I think it promotes false ideals and should be banned in my opinion.

(Unless they're dangerously overweight I guess)

I don't judge other people decisions concerning this topic. It's their body and i don't care about it as long as they don't harm other people.

But i would never do it. It costs lots of money and is dangerous. I can lose weight on a natural way, too. And i prefer the natural way.

liposuction is surgical method to remove excess body fat, but i would suggest people who want to loose weight not to go for liposuction as it may prove fatal sometimes, i have heard many cases in which this therapy failed resulting in fatal accidents.. so prefer losing weight through natural ways of dieting or exercising!!

in the cases where the patients died from the surgery itself, it was usually due to untrained, fake doctors pretending to be legit ...

in a number of the cases where fatalities occured, the culprit was linked to the anesthetics used ... oftentimes, the patients have an allergic reaction to it, and it often goes undetected, until the procedure is finished and it is too late ...

I could never have it done - as I am too scared of it going wrong - I have heard of some really bad stories about it going wrong :(

So I would do it the exercising and killing myself doing it ;)

Liposuction is really expensive. Only rich people and celebrities can afford to have this procedure. It is one of the fastest ways to achieve the figure you want. Make sure you have this procedure with a good doctor.

Liposuction is dame very expensive treatment, I think one who under went this treatment should follow so many post and operation medication. Some lady at my place died as she went for this treatment. So it?s better to go to a reputed and an experienced doctor.
