Fats are primarily required by the body for reserve energy, ready to be used when the diet is short of carbohydrates and proteins. Fats are essential for good health but the trouble begins when the body gets too much of it.

The more fat you eat, the more fat is stored. What our bodies need is poly-unsaturated fat, which is available in nearly everything we eat. It is however the saturated fats that we eat too much, even though the human body does not need them at all. These saturated fats increase the level of cholesterol and other lipids in the blood, further elevating the incidence of complications.
The big question is how to reduce fat in our diet.

Can you give some clues over this matter?
