For those who don't want to undergo the stress and pain of losing weight would usually resort to weight loss pills. But in my opinion, this has some side effects.

These days you will come across many types of weight loss pills available in the market. The diet pill works by stimulating the sympathetic nervous system and producing a feeling of fullness. Some of the drawbacks are as follows:

1.The use of a Weight loss Pill or also know as a diet pill is a short term weight management pill. It cannot be used on a long term bases.

2.Such a pill is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

3.Alcohol consumption along with the pill may produce adverse drug reactions

Several important things to note. This is similar to a steroid thread, and just like in that thread, i'm compelled to point out the fact that the variety of diet pills is staggering, and not all of them fall into one mold.

For instance, a green tea / alcar (acetyl l-carnitine) pill could be taken long term.

Many, many pills do not stimulate the sympathetic nervous system.

Some produce a feeling of fullness, some provide an absence of hunger, some do neither.

Also, referring to these pills as a short term aid is misleading... These pills can be useful, but some important things should be noted. These are not magic bullets, not at all. If you're currently not losing weight, starting almost any diet pill WILL NOT change that. When one begins dieting, their metabolism slows down (the body's natural reaction to a situation where calories are less available, ala evolution). Diet pills can help to combat this, and do other cool things like reduce appetite. But, again, if you don't know how to lose weight w/o a diet pill, you won't lose anything impressive (or anything at all) with a pill. These are not a shortcut, not by a long shot. They're the equivalent of some kid popping creatine pills and sitting on his couch - no results if you're not doing most of the work. Diet products will augment/supplement your current diet/training routine to help keep the metabolism up, your energy levels up, and potentially (likely) suppress your hunger.

Now, the 'newest bestest' is always the most expensive pill, and almost always no better than some of the cheapest ones. Ideally, my perfect pill would be something like redline, although i find redline to be too expensive at its retail price. I should add that i'm basing that on my knowledge of its ingredients, and my experiences regarding its energy production - i have not used it for fat loss specifically (i was ~7%bf when i was using them, so no real fat to lose).

Every pill has a side effect just like you're risking your life with all surgeries. That's common sense. If people have it in their mind that they want to take diet pills they're going to do it. Most people have to learn the hard way, I did. *shrug* Some pills have minor risks though. Also, everyone's body is different so everyone will have a different reaction. What happened to you may not happen to them. You're right though, diet pills have some crazy side effects and i'd rather just exercise or do something more...natural. Not even herbs in pill form do it for me.

I`ve read so many articles which are saying there is a potential risk of hearth attack when u use these weight loss pills.Why people use these kind of things instead of natural ways i cant understand.

Weight Loss supplement defintely create side effect.Some of the side effects are kidney failure,sudden heart attack and even sexual problem too. i need the gain with pain
