If you're running out of low calorie recipe, why not try eating a soda for dinner. You can drink fresh fruit juice with this. When I was quite chubby I used to eat this combination. Sometimes If I can?t control eating for dinner, I just make sure that I eat dinner before six and I really don?t eat anything after six in the evening. Try it, it worked for me.

Try eating a soda ?? soda bread ?? never heard of this before ?

Can you let me know what this is ??

I make sure I always eat before 7 - as my husband gets in at 6.30 so dinner is ready - and we are finished by then and then I don't eat after then - and make sure I have at least 3 hours before I go to bed inbetween :)

Yes it?s wonderful idea to have a early dinner if you have tendency to put on weight. Make sure you eat your dinner at least before 8PM. plan a proper menu in a way that they shouldn?t be repeated in a week. You can drink soup, eat brown bread with sewed vegetables, eat fruits, salads, sandwich.

I made this last night and it was delish

spicy chicken with raisins (4)
Quantities may be halved for two people
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 30-35 minutes
Ingredients
1 dessertspoon vegetable oil
8 boned chicken thighs with skin removed
1 onion, chopped
4-5 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp ground cumin
3 tbsp raisins
2 level tbsp tomato paste
1 bayleaf
200ml water
250g frozen spinach, thawed and drained
Method

* Heat the oil in a non-stick saucepan and cook the onion gently for 5 minutes. Add the cumin, bayleaf and garlic and continue cooking until the onion is soft, adding a little water if the mixture starts to stick.
* Add the chicken thighs and continue to cook over a low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
* Stir in the tomato paste, water and raisins.
* Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
* Finally add the thawed, drained spinach and cook until for another five or so minutes until the whole mixture is heated through.
* Serve with couscous, brown rice or potatoes and with a hot green vegetable such as broccoli or green beans.

Alternatives

Tip: When buying tomato paste or puree, look out for brands which do not have added salt.

You can try this healthy fruit snack.

You need:
apples, peaches, strawberries, mango
1 (18.25-ounce) package white, yellow, or vanilla cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter

1. Chop the fruits. (cube)
1. Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C).
2. Spread fruit in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle vanilla cake mix over add butter.
3. Bake for 30 minutes or until fruit is tender and top is lightly browned.

This tastes good. Try it.

You can try it. It?s a low calorie recipe.

Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, skinned. Chicken breast is low in fat content and in low calories.
Ginger [peeled & chopped] ? 20 gms
Coriander leaves [chopped] ? 40 gms
Mint leaves [chopped] ? 40 gms
Green chillies [chopped] ? 2 to 4
Garlic cloves ? 4
Onion [chopped] ? 2
Oil ? 1 tbsp
Lemon juice

Puree ginger, coriander, mint, chilies, garlic and onions in a liquidizer. Coat the chicken with salt and chili powder. Heat oil in a sauce-pan and fry chicken till golden in color. Remove the set aside.

Add the green paste to the pan and stir fry five minutes. Add water and salt to it and put the chicken back into pan. Cover and let it cook on gentle heat for 25 minutes. Add lmon juice and cook for another five minutes.

Garnish with onion rings and lemon twists and serve hot.
